Sonoma County Pride Presents “Sashay To The Midway Drag Show” Featuring Derrick Barry at the 4th Annual Community Celebration at Out at the Fair® – Sonoma County Fair on Friday, August 9, 2024

Join us for the first-ever drag show at the Sonoma County Fair, “Sashay To The Midway Drag Show,” featuring Derrick Barry, Shania Twampson, Maria Twampson, and DJ Em Bass. The show will begin at 8:00 PM on the Park Stage, followed by a dance party. The “Sashay To The Midway Drag Show” is free with fair admission.

Single General Admission Tickets (Ages 13+):

Advance Adult: $16 ($20 after August 2nd)
We encourage everyone to purchase their tickets in advance to take advantage of the best pricing and avoid the higher gate prices. Tickets at the gate on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are $25 each. Advance presale tickets are available online at sonomacountyfair.com or at the Fair Box Office. The Box Office will be open for ticket sales from Wednesday, July 24th through Wednesday, July 31st, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and will be closed on Sunday, July 29th. About the Sonoma County Fair:

The 2024 Sonoma County Fair, themed “The Greatest Fair on Earth,” will run from August 1-11 at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa. This year’s fair features a circus theme and a new artistic horse show. Discounted tickets are on sale now.

Derrick Barry
Derrick Barry gained international attention as a Britney Spears impersonator on “America’s Got Talent.” Growing up in Modesto, CA, Barry knew he was born to entertain. After seven years as a gymnast, he fell in love with theater and performed in numerous productions throughout high school and college. At 19, Barry moved to North Hollywood, immersing himself in the entertainment industry. His Britney Spears impersonation caught the attention of West Hollywood nightlife, Hollywood movie producers, and Las Vegas show producers. He became the youngest cast member in history to join “An Evening at La Cage” in Las Vegas. Barry has performed on the Las Vegas Strip for over 19 years and appeared in music videos for Katy Perry, Eminem, and Olivia Newton-John. He was also a contestant on season 8 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” making the Top 5, and currently stars in RuPaul’s Drag Race LIVE at Flamingo Las Vegas.

Shania Twampson
Shania Twampson, a beloved drag performer from Reno, NV, is known for her charm, wit, humor, and over-the-top comedic performances. Shania has been performing in drag since June 2021 and quickly established herself as one of Reno’s most admired drag performers. Off-stage, she enjoys playing video games at home.

Maria Twampson
Maria Twampson, a “messy baby queen” from Reno, NV, loves twirling on stage and entertaining audiences with her energetic performances. Known for her unpredictable and lively shows, Maria invites fans to follow her for more entertainment—or out of pity, as she jokes.

DJ Em Bass
Emerging from the underground music scene, DJ Em Bass has been captivating audiences since 2003. She mixes a variety of genres, including Drum and Bass, Breaks, Trance, and House, creating an unforgettable experience that keeps crowds dancing all night.
