Sister Nova Nilla is a nun with the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, an Order of 21^st century nuns doing charity work throughout the world. Nova has been a Sister for 17 years and has helped raise over a million dollars for local charities in Sonoma County. Her most notorious endeavor was creating the Sisters’ Bingo held once a month in Guerneville.

“Being a Sister is by far the most rewarding activity I’ve ever done.” says Nova. “It brought me out of my shy shell and taught me how to put on make-up and eyelashes and tutus and high heels and oh my!!!
